Spring on the west coast offers a bounty of wild greens, shoots, and flowers that can offer us both nutrition and healing. In this walk Jessy will introduce you to a wide variety of edible and medicinal spring greens that can be found in our forest and meadow ecosystems.
You will be shown tips on how to identify the plants on your own in the wild, and learn how even small amounts of wild foods gathered and added to meals can enhance your health and well-being.
This walk takes place is a mixed forest with beautiful old growth trees in the Central Saanich area.
