Yoga & Contemplative Writing


Find spaciousness, balance, strength and insight in this series that combines yoga and exploration of self through contemplative writing. This class takes place in our beautiful geodesic dome, come cozy up in the glow and warmth of the wood stove, within the peaceful atmosphere of the herb garden.

Come move through a full spectrum yoga class to create spaciousness, balance and strength within your physical and energetic body.

Each session you will guided through an alignment, intention based class geared to open specific parts of your body to reach a peak pose. When your body is intelligently opened you are able to go deeper within yourself and ask yourself potent questions for self exploration.

Following the guided yoga portion of the class you will be given thought provoking prompts to write about to dive deeper into the true desires of your heart and spirit. Contemplative writing is a beautiful way to express your thoughts and true desires - ones you may not have exposed to your conscious self. It is an active way of meditating through a conscious stream of thought using the medium of paper and ink. 

Each week will have a theme interwoven into the physical yoga practice and will be carried through into the contemplative prompts to offer your subconscious and conscious mind to connect.

Liz Bueckert
Movement has always been a big part of Liz's life as the body is such a beautiful and all encompassing way of expressing ones self but it wasn’t until her last year of University that she discovered yoga. She quickly learned it was so much more than just movement. It was a way to heal, open up and be more grounded in herself. After practicing yoga for a few years she decided to take her 200 hour yoga teacher training. She was lucky to have a teacher who taught her the true roots of yoga which allowed her to transform her practice, herself and offer classes that are heartfelt and authentic. She has been teaching private and public classes since 2011.
